Popcorn is BACK

 

This WEDNESDAY we are kicking off our Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser! This fundraiser is open to ANYONE who is a DGS Friends of the Fine Arts (student, parent, teacher, friend, ANYONE)!!! The sale will run from 1/17/24 at 10:00pm - 1/21/24 at 10:00pm. 50% of all sales will go directly back to the Friends of the Fine Arts to continue supporting our students!!

Ways to get involved:

2. Create your own popcorn store and SELL, SELL, SELL!!! Download the Double Good Popcorn App, enter this code: FFCDMQ and start selling directly from the APP.

December in the Fine Arts

 December is a very busy month for all of our Fine Arts students.  Please mark your calendars for all these events/opportunities:

Monday, December 4th Friends of the Fine Arts Meeting 7:00pm DGS room A110

Thursday, December 7th Gia Mia Fundraiser.  FOFA will receive 20% on all dine-in and carryout orders when you use the flyer or the code.  

Thursday, December 14th DGS Fine Arts Festival.  This is an evening full of beautiful music and a celebration of art!  The event starts at 6:00pm.  Please visit the FOFA table for your change to purchase homemade FOFA ornaments.

Finally, we could use some volunteers for the Fine Arts Festival.  If you are available for any part of the evening please sign-up using this link:  Winter Fine Arts Festival and Art Show

Welcome Back!!!!

We want to WELCOME everyone to the 2023-2024 school year!  We are looking forward to a wonderful year in the DGS Fine Arts Department.  Mark your calendars now for the first Friends of the Fine Arts meeting on Monday, September 11 at 7:00pm!  We hope to see you there!

Tri M Plant the Seed Fundraiser

 In honor of Music in Our Schools Month, Tri-M will be holding its first ever Plant the Seed Fundraiser!

Tri-M is a National Music Honors Society where students in performing arts learn to serve their community through music. This spring Tri-M Members are working to "plant the seed" for the love of music and make private lessons more readily available to all students at DGS. A portion of all proceeds of our fundraiser will be donated to the Private Lesson FOFA Scholarship. 

Please consider supporting our fundraiser by purchasing a hand painted 2 or 4 inch terracotta pot from Tri-M! Each one will be hand decorated by Tri-M students with DGS colors, and will be packed with soil and a packet of seeds so you can help "plant the seed" for the love of music. CLICK HERE to be taken to the webstore for our fundraiser! Information about pick up for purchased pots and seeds will be sent out at a later date.
